I’m always on the prawl for organic or natural products and so I decided to do a review of all the products I’ve used up lately. It’s my first time doing a review, hope you guys find it informative.
I am a big fan of Jurlique products. I’m currently testing the Juice Beauty x Alicia Silverstone chamomille cleanser but this one was quite good, very lightweight and my face definitely felt cleansed and refreshed. However, the only thing bugging me is the fact that it contains Phenoxethanol, which is a potentially harmful chemical (I try to stay away from it)
*Monoï Tiki Tahiti:
Perfect if you are going to the beach and you need something strong to hydrate your skin. It’s been one of the Tahitian beauty secrets. The composition is not entirely natural despite the claims on the websites (*naughty naughty).

The ingredients (witchhazel and rose water) are very popular among toners. The smell is delicate and it’s definitely refreshing, however the negative point remains the price in proportion to the quantity, there is not much in the bottle and it’s quite pricey. So I don’t think I’ll repurchase it.
*Weleda, Iris Erfrischende Nachtpflege:
Rich texture, feels lightweight on the skin, lavender soothes redness, however it was not useful for my skintype (oily/combination skin), and I find my skin looking better when I do not use any nightcreams.

Salvia (= sage, not Salvia divinorium :-)) is recommended for oily skin, known for its disinfectant properties. The cream is quite rich, but blends really easily, and a little goes a long way, you don’t need to lather much product on your face.
I have the eyecream from the same brand as well and the texture is quite similar yet I find it very effective. Like Dr.Hauschka, this brand is what I consider one of *the safe brands*: you either get great results or in the worst case, no improvement.

Did you have any of these products? Let me know how it went for you or if you have any recommandations, I’d love to hear about it.
Take care,Liz
