Jade(d)

Remember that song from Aerosmith “Jaded” with a barely recognizable but dreamy-looking Mila Kunis, and Steven Tyler screaming at the top of his lungs: “My my baby blue (…) j-j-jaded “. Who knows maybe Steven Tyler is an adept of the jade roller facial πŸ™‚

But let’s get back into business, shall we.

I purchased this roller a while ago this jade roller on Cultbeauty, after reading a few articles about facial massages and Yoga facials. Jade is known to have healing properties and according to the website: “the deep massaging action transform your skin and facial contours making you look younger” Massaging your face helps lymph drainage and increases blood flow, thus eliminating dark circles, puffiness and possibly contributes to wrinkles attenuation. You can also roll away the tension that is built up between your eyebrows. Personally, I like it and I’ve added it to my daily morning routine.

* How I use it:Β  In the morning, on a fresh bare face. It gives my face a little glow and I look less tired. The cold pressure of the stone on your face is invigorating as well.

* Noticeable changes:Β  None at the moment, however, it’s quite effective if you need to relieve congestions (ex. sinusitis or headaches). When I had my last sinusitis it came in handy.

Β

Has anyone used it in the long term? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Available on Cultbeauty.co.ukΒ  in three different models, starting at 23 British Pounds.

Take care,

Liz

    1. Oh sure, will do an updated post then, thank you for your interest! I started reading about face massages and how beneficial it was for the skin and to be honest if this could prevent me from using zillion of creams, it would be great πŸ™‚ It definitely soothes the skin! xx Liz
