1. New Look star clutch
Remember one of my 7 facts (click)? I love stars! So this New Look clutch obviously caught my eye. I bought it a while ago, but it’s only recently that I’ve been able to carry this bag around. The blue pastel color is perfect for Spring and the clutch is large enough to carry phone, wallet, notebook, pens and a few beauty products.
2. Ecoya Lip balm
A lovely gift from Alice & White, Ecoya is an eco-luxe Australian brand mostly known for the natural soy wax candles. I must say that I’m pleasantly surprise by this balm. Packed with ultra-nourishing ingredients (macadamia oil, Manuka honey, shea butter, avocado oil) it’s a great lip treatment, bringing back some much needed moisture to dehydrated, cracked lips. A rich and soothing balm, perfect for a natural look.
3. Gressa Lip Boost in “Bare”
Major love for this product! In my February shopping list (click), I included Gressa Skin’s Rejuvenating Mist. Of course, when I went to place the order, I couldn’t help but add this little beauty to the shopping basket and I don’t regret it! I’m a bright lipstick gal, but this is by far the best “nude” lip product I’ve tried. No need to get scary injections to have fuller lips, Gressa’s lip boost lives up to its name. It’s a vegan and all natural pout enhancer, which also nourishes the lips at the same time. A true star product! A little goes a long way, but it will be a repurchase for sure.
4. Weleda white mallow lotion (sample size)
I’m a loyal Weleda customer, so when their new “White Mallow” range launched, I had to give it a try. Initially targeted towards babies, this mild frangrance-free lotion was awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance. I got the sample size, which is very convenient, that I keep it my bag and use whenever I need to hydrate my hands.
The smell is a bit disconcerting though, (I believe it’s because of the mixture of coconut oil and borage oil ) but it really softens my hands and soothes any irritations.
5. Ghost World by Daniel Clowes.
You may know the movie starring young Scarlett Johansson and Thora Birch, well this is the comic book it was based on. An accurate portrait of teenage angst, Ghost World illustrates the friendship of two witty and cynical teenagers, Enid Coleslaw and Rebecca Doppelmeyer in the early 90’s and follows their uneasy journey into adulthood. I loved the movie, but I had to read the original piece, which is great and reminded me of my “youth”: I used to devour comic books, especially those incorporating strong female characters (girl powaa!).
So these are my current favorites! I’d love to hear yours 🙂
Take care,
Liz

Is the white mallow lotion greasy at all? I didn't even know they had launched a new line. Super exciting!

I only have the sample size, but it's not greasy and the cream is quickly absorbed. I was excited too, I really enjoy testing new products 🙂 xx
Coucou, was really curious about Mallow rand from Weleda and is thinking of buying it for my little ones ( currently using the baby weleda range and I like it ! :-))x
Oh the little ones surely deserve some pampering 🙂 If I were you, I'd smell it first, because the scent is quite singular. However it is easily absorbed and soothes the skin very quickly. I don't know if this range is better than the other baby weleda products as I have never tried them 🙂 xx
Love your favourites Liz, and after our little chat yesterday I got my Ghost World out and will be revisiting it again this weekend! x
Thanks Jen! Looking forward to more Ghost World chats with you 😀 xx
I am really curious about the Weleda, will have to look it up x
I love Weleda, so I had to give this a try. I would love to hear your thoughts about it! xx
Ghost World is one of my favourite books – I love reading graphic novels and it was one of the first that I picked up. Must have seen the film about a million times and almost know all the dialogue off by heart *embarassed face!* x

I agree, Ghost World is a gem! It 's the first novel I read from Daniel Clowes and I really want to read "Art School Confidential" next. Don't worry lovely, I know most dialogues too haha 😉 xx
