Several weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to win a giveaway on Instagram from Briar, the creator of Marble & Milkweed. I’ve been wanting to try her products for the longest time and while a part of her collection is available on abeautifulworld, it’s still a treat to get your hands on them, because every time I go on the website, they are sold out, which is an indicator of how popular her products are. Created in small batches all the way from her NYC studio, with organic, local and wild-harvested plants, Marble & Milkweed products are a powerful blend of ingredients in a dainty and minimalistic design packaging. When I first got the kit I decided to follow the whole ritual: I made myself a cup of the tea, had a steam session, put on the green tea Jasmine mask, spritzed some toner, washed off, spritzed some more toner and applied the facial oil. I can assure you that my skin was looking radiant afterward! Let’s start off with the tea 🙂
Spring Tonic Tea
A fine concoction of soothing and detoxifying organic herbs among them calendula flowers,
nettle leaf and red chamomile. Enjoying this tea along with a good is pure bliss. A soft herbal taste that would delight any delicate palates.
Ingredients: organic calendula flowers, organic red clover flowers,
organic nettle leaves, organic rosehips, organic rose petals, organic
chamomile flowers, lemon verbena
The Jasmine green tea masque
Part of my facial mask round-up (here), it’s simple but oh so effective. If you’re looking for a light detoxifying mask with few ingredients, this is right up your alley. It’s just lovely: gentle, effective, deep cleansing and protecting since it’s packed with antioxidants. I’m trying not use it too much because I want to enjoy the experience a little while longer 🙂
Ingredients: french green clay, hand-ground organic jasmine tea, organic matcha green tea, organic jasmine grandiflorum extract
Spring nourishing body oil
This will be a purchase for sure – if it becomes a staple in Marble & Milkweed’s collection. It’s luxury in a bottle. A lush and enticing scent that revives your senses. Forgive my lack of accurate description, I’ll put the ingredient list for that purpose. It’s a strong scent but not overpowering, it’s sweet but not sickly, but also fresh and citrusy with notes of bitter orange (the struggle to do this scent justice is real). A few drops are more than enough to have silky smooth skin. Just take my word for it, it’s a gem of a body oil.
Ingredients: organic jojoba oil, organic apricot kernel oil, organic rosehip seed oil, organic coconut oil, organic essential oil of petitgrain, essential oil of ginger lily, essential oil of yuzu, organic essential oil of tarragon, organic essential oil of galbanum, orris butter, absolutes of tarragon, ylang-ylang & galbanum, non-GMO vitamin e
Spring facial tonic spritz
Soothing and refreshing, it’s a lovely gentle toner that will restore your faith in toners, if you’re a toner skeptical ;)A few spritzes and you can feel any skin tension go away. If you have sensitive and stressed skin, this facial tonic is gentle enough to restore some balance and harmony.
Ingredients: rose geranium hydrosol (cultivated without chemicals), wildcrafted yarrow hydrosol, organic vegetable glycerine, organic essential oil of geranium, wildcrafted essential oils of carrot seed and Moroccan chamomile
Spring tonic serum
I merely use it in conjunction with the green tea masque, and it’s a match made in skin heaven. Easily absorbed, it instantly calms and soothes any eventual redness coming from washing off the mask, and my skin feels fresh, moisturized and glowing.
Ingredients: organic jojoba oil, organic sweet almond oil, organic evening primrose oil, organic german chamomile essential oil, organic neroli essential oil, organic geranium essential oil, wild carrot seed oil, non-GMO vitamin e
There’s something with Briar’s products that is phenomenal, they are all so incredibly light but nourishing. This kit has irrevocably convinced me on trying more of her delicate range. Her products are mind-blowingly soothing and pure, with a unique scent. Briar is a true artisan, crafting dainty but high-performing skin products. You can tell that each and every item is created meticulously and hand-made with love.
Now Spring might be over, but you can get her Summer Get Away kit – which might be quickly sold out – on abw (here), and some of her Spring collection (on sale!) on her shop online (here).
Have you tried Marble & Milkweed?
Take care,
Liz

Marble and Milkweed are a gem, I only tried a few products as a beautiful world does not stock the the whole range, but I have liked everything I have. I can just imagine sipping your tea with the face mask on, if only you leaved closer we could do home spa together while chatting green beauty 😉 xx
You're right it's only a part of her range, I always wanted to try their balms, and it was sold out every single time on abw haha. Omg I definitely wish I lived closer, a blogger home spa session would be amazing <3 xx
I LOVE the nourishing body oil! I got it at Christmas in the ABW gift box which was like £55 and it was worth about £100 so its definitely worth checking them out as they'll probably do it again this year 🙂 xx
Thanks for the info Amber! 🙂 I never managed to grab a box on ABW, always too late haha! Gosh, the scent it addictive, the 1st time I smelled it, my nose was in heaven. xx
I love M&M branding! Been looking at their stuff for a long time — as usual with everything else! The tea sounds so lovely, it also makes a good photo prop! ;p
I'm such a Marble & Milkweed fan! That face-mask sounds awesome, as does the tea. I can't wait to try some of the other new blends. X
