A beauty keeper! True Organic of Sweden : All you need is me

Tina de Sousa, the founder of the brand True Organic of Sweden came up with a minimalistic line, focusing on two products that we tend to use on a regular or even on a daily basis, namely creams and deodorants. You may have spotted this product several times on my Instagram page, because it has become one of my go-to’s the past couple of months. True Organic of Sweden’s appropriately named All You Need Is Me cream is a multitasking product, and according to their website, it’s also a green alternative for Elizabeth Arden8-hourour cream skin protectant. (I will keep that in mind for my Green Switch series)

While labelled as a cream, it has more of a balmy consistency, which I find really soothing. It has no colour, is unfragranced – I did feel a teeny tiny fruity note, but maybe that’s just me.

In numbers, All You Need Is Me is as follows:
     – 95% certified organic ingredients – All ingredients approved by CosIng (EU’s cosmetics Directive)
     – Available in both 15ml and 50ml sizes
    – With only 6 ingredients: Castor oil, Beeswax, Olive oil, Shea butter, Vitamin E & Blueberry seed oil.

I’m a sucker for sleek and styling packaging, and I was ecstatic to learn that this one is biodegradable. The tube is not made
of plastic, but out of sugarcane, how awesome is that?
All You Need Is Me confirms the adage that less is more. The simplicity of the product is disarming, because it’s effortlessly easy to use and works like a charm. I apply it on my eyebrows to keep them in place, on cracked and dry lips, cuticles, heels, and elbows. Everytime it quickly soothes and nourishes the skin. I also apply it on more random parts such as the dry parts around my nose or between my eyebrows (also known as the glabella region) for a quick fix. The tube is light and fits perfectly in my bag, so I’m carrying it everywhere with me.

Little beauty hack: I experimented with Alima and Lily Lolo loose pigments and mixed them with the All you need is me balm to create a cream texture. Here’s the result below. I applied Alima Pure blush pigments on both my cheeks and eyelids. Combined with All You Need Is Me, the makeup turns long-lasting and feels hydrating. Not to mention that it provides a glossy effect.  Personally I love it. I tried this trick with Weleda’s Skin Food (tip originally given by the ever so lovely Permberley Jones) but Skin Food was a tad too rich for me.

Now you know why the The All You Need Is Me cream is a beauty keeper for me and will be a repurchase because it’s versatile, handy and really efficient.
Cause girl you know it’s True (Organic of Sweden) – did you spot the 80’s song reference here? 😉

Have you tried True Organic of Sweden? What’s your go-to multitasker?

Take care,
Liz
