I enjoy doing this series so much because it features all these incredible green beauties achieving their dreams! Initially, it was to document green bloggers who took the leap and launched their own beauty stores which is why I named it “From blogs to shops”. So don’t be fooled by the “reductive” title of this series, it’s now meant to share all the cool news surrounding fellow green people and their latest projects. To see the previous articles, it’s here. Go green!
When women unite amazing things happen, Clean Cult is the prime example. These 4 green babes, respectively Mayah & Sabrina from Call it Vanity and Dominika and Elsie from Clean Beauty Co. have teamed up to create the first wellbeauty festival in London, combining superfruit cocktails, outstanding Britsh skincare companies, and mini pamper sessions. It’s the perfect occasion to discover fantastic green beauty brands, mingle with like-minded people and simply have a really good time. Grab your ticket (here) for the July 10 event. Feel free to over to The Peridot Mag where I had the pleasure to interview them (here).
Ashlee is the foxy lady and vegan warrior from The lil Foxes. Her drive and passion are contagious and when she’s not blogging, she’s appearing on Tv and doing panels in the US to talk about all things vegan and cruelty-free. She recently teamed up with Artisan skin to launch this glorious versatile red blush/lip color (red lips being her signature look), which definitely looks like a beauty staple. As you can expect from Ashlee, it’s vegan, eco-friendly, made in USA, and simply rad. So grab them while they are available (here).
Sweet as honey, Amber from Amber’s Beauty Talk has taken her passion for bees to the next level by launching her own online store Nectar & bumble, raising awareness of the plight of the bees. Featuring ‘bee-autiful’ gifts, homeware, and natural skincare: 10% of the profits goes to bee charities. Make sure to also check out the special Nectar & Bumble collaboration with Mallow & White, namely the Blossom balm. Her shop is the bee’s knees!
It was launched a few months ago, so many of you might already be aware of this but I hadn’t shared the news on the blog. The beautiful Alison is the founder of a carefully and earnestly curated online and pop-up boutique, Verdant Beauty (her blog + shop share the same name). Her fantastic selection will convert every green sceptical: Josh Rosebrook, Modern Minerals Makeup, Habit, Rl.Linden, Meow Meow Tweet, Kahina. If you’re in the US and more precisely in the NY area, keep an eye out for Verdant’s beauty pop up events and workshops, gathering makers and green enthusiasts in one place (here): just by looking at the photos from the events, you can tell that it’s always heaps of fun.
Congrats to all these amazing ladies, keep on shining!
Stay tuned for #5 because many more exciting projects are happening 🙂
