Spring-Summer eco fashion picks I Liz

Cuyana Panama hat : Protecting yourself from the sun without giving up on style is totally possible. The Panama hat is super lightweight which means that at the end of a warm day, my face won’t become a sweaty mess. Made in Ecuador by local artisans, the Panama hat is hand-woven from genuine toquilla straw. The navy blue ribbon adds a sweet and feminine touch. Retails for $65.

Matt & Nat Isshiki fuchsia: This bold fuchsia bucket bag stole my heart. The color is bright and cheerful. Bucket bags may not be the most useful bags to carry around for work but during summer holidays, yes. Can be worn crossbody with adjustable and removable strap. As usual with Matt & Nat, their bags are made with 100% recycled nylon lining. Retails for Eur. 145.

Armedangels Leila stripe tee : A little twist on the quintessential summer striped t-shirt, it comes in three different colors: blue, pink and yellow. Made of organic cotton, the fit is loose for added comfort and breathability with side buttons. A big plus for the mid-length sleeves, because I have a few beauty marks on my arms which can’t be exposed to the sun. Retails for 44.90 Eur.

Proof Ada eco sunglasses : The ultimate eco version of Ray-ban. Proof has a variety of eco-trendy eyewear and sunglasses, but it’s the Ada Eco model that caught my eyes – literally. Made of cotton-based acetate and sustainably sourced wood, I’m particularly fond of the blue mirrored lens because I love colorful glasses, just like Elton John. Retails for $130.

Veja Taua Oxford grey petale : So long boots and heels, hello cute and comfortable sneakers. The Taua shoes in Oxford grey petal are feminine and can be easily paired up with everything: dresses, shorts, and jeans. Taua is a vegan model without leather, with recycled and fair-trade cotton from Brazil. It retails for Eur. 75

Braintree Kara Chambray dress: Simplicity is key during the holiday and the beautiful Kara Chambray dress embodies that philosophy. I like that it’s not too dressy and feminine and that you can style it different ways. Made with soft and lightweight organic cotton, it is comfortable and wearable from day-to-night. Retails for £49.90

Emobi frill swimsuit: Ultra-stylish with a modern cut, the Frill one-piece has a low u-shape backline and frilly fully lined cups. I love the pattern called “love heart” and the color scheme used, I think it looks playful yet still elegant. Their swim pieces are locally made in Australia, using water-based dyes.

Alas Midnight telescope t-shirt :  Self-explanatory. Two of my favorite things combined: loungewear and galaxy prints. It’s originally meant as a pyjama top but I don’t see why one could not wear this during the day as well. I think it looks super cute. The best part, though? It’s made with certified organic soft cotton jersey fabric and dyed with formaldehyde-free inks. Retails for $ 59.95

Kowtow Lovers not haters crew: More ‘couture’ than the rest of my picks, this black box-cut jumper with pink flowers looks effortlessly cool, perfect for chilly summer nights. The fit is loose, and it’s made with certified organic cotton. Kowtow is a brand from New Zealand and their whole collection oozes easy-breezy attitude and style. Retails for $169
